Golf News

What a great day for Golf last Sunday. There were 2 big games on.
How similar were they:-
The Masters at Augusta -- Only the winner gets a Green Jacket, prize pool of $11.00M

You can walk the course for $21
Tauranga Citz at Kawerau:- All players have a green shirt, prize pool $110
You can walk the course for $25

It was pleasing to have 20 players following the CT Club players around the course.
Our winner finally on count back was Shane with 35 points, from Henry, then Bernard beat Christine on count back (34 points) and another count back decision for the last 2 prizes, with Kim beating Graham (32 points)
Wallace lost golf balls, missed putts, found trees but took the lollies home. Mario and Bruce Mercer both scored 2's.
Kim took out the mystery hole #4 with a 3 pointer. Her advantage o this hole was that. It was 69  meters shorter than the men had to play.
Special thanks to Jude, Owen and Annette of the Kawerau Club for their excellent hospitality.
Next game is the 1st round of our Club Championship Te Puke on 15th May.
Come and join us for good golfing and fellowship.
