We are coming back.

With the lifting of number restrictions and further interpretation of Covid Rules, we are now in a position to bring back some of the member activities in place prior to lock down, but we still have to abide by the rules.

So, the following is our "Roadmap" as we strive to return back to some normality, but I doubt the normal as we knew it will return for sometime.

The Club Restaurant is currently open Friday and Saturday nights, with a new look menu and background entertainment and will open again on Thursday's from 21st October.

The seated rule still applies, so with the lifting of number restrictions during the hours that the Bistro is open, the Club bar area will be dedicated to food and beverage service only. No other activities will be permitted in this area during those hours, and of course the TAB Lounge will be available for beverage service.

Until further notice, all Adjunct activity remains suspended, but members wishing to play seated games such as cards, mahjong etc can do so on a casual basis in the Club Bar outside of the Bistro open hours, or by request at reception. The Restaurant and Artie Stewart Lounge may be available on any day from opening to 4pm, but for these two areas the consumption of food or alcohol is not permitted during those hours.

Those wishing to play the odd game of Indoor Bowls can now do so in the Restaurant, but again, that needs to be booked with Reception and masks must be worn at all times. The consumption of food and liquor is not permitted while playing Indoor Bowls.

Snooker and Pool [players will be happy to know that the Cue Sports Lounge will now be available for casual play during normal Club hours, but masks need to be worn at all times and the consumption of food and alcohol is not permitted in this area.

For the wider Membership, the Thursday night Membership draw is back this coming Thursday and will start up at $800, and will be supported with Bingo and Club Raffles.

The following Friday; the Joker will return, Friday night raffles will commence, and most weeks Karaoke will feature back in the Artie Stewart Lounge

The Wednesday night Membership Draw returns 27th October with a start up at $1,000 and will be supported with the Club (Adjuncts) Raffles.

Keep an eye out for our newsletter updates and remember that it is only when you are seated that you can remove your masks.

Members, please be aware that our Staff are working extremely hard to continue to provide a quality service, bearing in mind that we are not operationally designed, nor do we have sufficient staff to provide the style of service that we have to provide under these very trying conditions, but they are (and are doing a bloody good job of it) so please remind them of that when you next visit.
