Covid Chaos Relief

It was good news and a step in the right direction for New Zealand last night as it was announced that tomorrow Auckland moves to Level Three and the 50-limitation imposed on those in Level Two is now 100, but it appears the “seated only” rule still applies.

Sincere apologies if my Covid Chaos Newsletters have not carried the positive attitude that I normally portray, but as your CEO, I have been, and still am, extremely concerned at the financial impact that Covid is having on our Club, the well being of my Staff and Members, and it is far from over.

But in making the best of a bad situation, we will take advantage of this relief in number restrictions to 100 by passively introducing back some of the things we were doing prior to lock down.

The Roast will be back on the menu in the Bistro this coming Sunday, the Restaurant will open Friday/Saturday nights from next week with live entertainment, and raffles will be on sale (from next) Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings.

We have a large Club and provide a safe environment, so please, it is imperative that under these challenging times you continue to support your Club.  Keep an eye on our newsletters for updates, phone Reception for more information or to book your favourite table or leaner to ensure your spot is safe, and of course we are now able to cater for functions.

Remember, “your Club is at the heart of it all”.
